Great quiet location, lovely views and sheep for neighbours. Plenty of space, cozy wood burner, comfy beds, good communication with Lynwen. Everything you need for a get away....
Beautiful location off the beaten track. Stunning walks up to Lyn y Fan and across the Brecon Beacons - a very cosy base!
Pictures don't do this house justice. Amazingly peaceful and picturesque with and without weather. We drove 1hr 20m to tenby, look up church door cove: fabulous beach and we swam in sea. Sat and watched farming lad move sheep around back of house. Incredible. Watch kites fly around and listen to the wind, trees and the stream. Blissful. Lynwen was very helpful. Great stay, highly recommend.
Wonderful barn in amazing green oasis.
An amazing place in a beautiful location. Host was responsive and left personal touches through out from fresh flowers to offering her delicious cake. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend looking for a place in Wales. Thank you.
A warm welcoming place with amazing views. Looking forward to visiting again

Had a great time with the chicks and new lambs. Has been really adventurous and loved seeing "cat in the hat" the pet lamb.
Beautiful barn with wonderful views. The accommodation was superb.
Such a lovely welcome - flowers, cakes etc - like a palace. We loved the views from all the windows. A real rest with everything we could need.
Wonderful location and a lovely barn. A great break with marvelous weather to boot.
River & mountain walks, treks around waterfalls - a wonderful week but nowhere as welcoming or wonderful as Nantifan Barn, the farm & your lovely family. We will be back.
With the unprecedented year that we have all had it is more important than ever to look after yourselves and wellbeing. See below a few tips and advantages of visiting the countryside:
Spending time in nature outdoors can help improve your mood and reduce feelings of stress and anxiety.
Going for walks in the countryside and taking in the views and listening to the birds singing really helps lift your mood.
A short run is good for your motivation – follow a route around the farm.
You can collect natural materials from outdoors, such as leaves, flowers, feathers, and colourful rocks and use them to decorate your living space. Children can build a den and play in the stream behind Nantifan Barn – bring your wellies and waterproofs. Take a walk through the ancient woodland on the farm and take in the essence of the bluebells (in May) and see the wildflowers growing in abundance.
Lots of people find that being with animals is calming and enjoyable. Nantifan is surrounded by wildlife – why not have a nature walk and make a note of all you see – hares, rabbits and farm animals. Try sitting on the patio and watch the red kites circling above and spot the different varieties of birds. Spending time around animals is one of the best things you can do to understand and learn about what wellbeing and happiness really is.
Lambing at the farm starts from the end of February and there is nothing more pleasurable that seeing the new-born lambs playing in the fields and prancing, bonding with their mothers. Pay attention to your surroundings and you will be amazed by the things you see, hear, taste, smell and touch.
Taking time out from social media is also a great release of stress.
Nantifan has own private patio areas, parking and garden and you are self-distancing without actually being aware of it. We all need a break from time to time so let’s be positive and look to the future.
